A Barn Wedding Near Fulton
without the barn-wedding compromises
TWENTY MINUTES SOUTH OF FULTON
FULTON, MS · OUR ROOM, YOUR DAY
Why Fulton couples choose The Stables of Harp Farm.
Most barn wedding venues are one of two things: a brand-new pole barn built to look old, or an actual old barn that is freezing in February and stifling in July. The Stables of Harp Farm is the rare third option. It is a 1980s riding stable that Buck and Susan rebuilt as a climate-controlled, fully accessible 6,000 square foot event hall while keeping the bones, the beams, and the seven dining stables that give the room its character.
For Fulton couples who want the barn aesthetic without the bug spray and box fans, the math works. Twenty minutes down Highway 25, you walk into a cleaned-and-conditioned room with white linens already on the tables, an Amish carriage parked at the door, and a cottage out back for the bride.
The outdoor chapel sits in the trees a short walk from the barn. The pews are built into the ground; the aisle runs straight at a cross. If it rains, you bring the ceremony inside the barn and nobody misses a beat.
WHAT YOU GET
Built for Fulton, MS.
- ◆Authentic 1980s working-stable barn, rebuilt for events
- ◆Climate-controlled at 72 degrees regardless of the forecast
- ◆Seven semi-private dining stables for table groupings
- ◆Outdoor chapel with built-in pews under mature trees
- ◆Cottage on site so the bride is not driving in her dress
- ◆One wedding per weekend, exclusive to your party
Fulton brides usually find us by word of mouth, often from a cousin or college friend who had her ceremony at the chapel. Once they tour, they notice the barn is actually clean (Susan is particular) and that the carriage is real (the Amish builder in Tennessee made it to spec).
