HAMILTON, AL · OUR ROOM, YOUR DAY

Why Hamilton couples choose The Stables of Harp Farm.

Hamilton couples looking for a wedding venue with the barn aesthetic typically end up driving farther than they need to. The Stables of Harp Farm is just over the Mississippi line in Smithville, about forty minutes west of Hamilton on Highway 78 and 25, and it is closer to most of the venues showing up in your search.

The room is a rebuilt 1980s riding stable, 6,000 square feet of climate-controlled space, with seven dining stables that break the big room into seven cozy ones. White linens on the tables, chiffon-covered chairs, an Amish-built carriage parked at the door, and an in-house sound system already tied into the ceiling.

The outdoor chapel sits under the trees a short walk from the barn, with a cross at the end of the aisle. The cottage out back is a 1953 farmhouse for the bride and her people. Hamilton couples appreciate that the whole day stays on one property, with no shuttle ride between ceremony and reception.
