TWENTY-FIVE MINUTES FROM NETTLETON
NETTLETON, MS · OUR ROOM, YOUR DAY
Why Nettleton couples choose The Stables of Harp Farm.
Nettleton couples have a short drive to The Stables of Harp Farm. About twenty-five minutes through Amory, up Highway 25, into Smithville. The barn is on the right, on a 300-acre family farm that Buck and Susan have spent years turning into the kind of venue you only find in the country.
The room is a rebuilt 1980s riding stable, climate-controlled, 6,000 square feet, with seven semi-private dining stables and a grand gathering room. Tables, white linens, chiffon-covered chairs, the in-house sound system, and a handmade Amish carriage are all included in the rental.
The outdoor chapel sits under the trees with a cross at the end of the aisle. The cottage out back is a 1953 farmhouse for the bride and her people. Nettleton couples consistently say the same thing on the tour: this is the room they have been driving past their whole life without knowing it.
